Grid-connected floating photovoltaic (FPV) power plant in industrial basin

In 2024, a 25 kWp floating solar project in Feyzin, France, combines advanced solar technology with environmental benefits. It features both monofacial and bifacial solar panels installed at two tilt angles (12° and 30°), maximizing energy efficiency.

12 sensors are installed to measure critical parameters such as solar irradiance, panel and ambient temperature, wind speed, humidity, water temperature, and panel performance. This extensive sensor network ensures detailed real-time data for optimizing system efficiency.

This project aims to compare the performance of different panel types and configurations, gathering valuable data to inform future floating solar developments.
