HelioRec’s W300A floating solar demonstrator in Brest Port combines clean energy generation with advanced real-time monitoring. The 10 kWp platform collects marine and structural data to validate and optimise floating solar technology for larger coastal and port applications.

HelioRec’s Solar4Ports project has received €561,247 in non-repayable funding to develop and demonstrate a 200 kWp W300A floating solar power plant in one of France’s largest ports. The 24-month project will validate coastal FPV technology under real waves, tides, wind and saltwater conditions.

HelioRec has been awarded €496,575 in European Union FEDER funding to accelerate HELIOMAR, a €1.1 million research project developing the next generation of coastal floating solar technology. Supported by the Pays de la Loire Region, the project will strengthen European innovation, sustainable energy production and industrial competitiveness.
