HelioRec at Solar & Storage Live Paris 2026: From Design to Deployment
On 14-15 October 2026, the HelioRec team participated in Solar & Storage Live Paris at Paris Le Bourget - France’s leading exhibition for solar energy and energy storage. The two-day event brought together technology providers, developers, EPCs, installers, utilities and energy users working across residential, commercial, industrial and utility-scale markets.
For HelioRec, the event was an opportunity to put floating solar in the spotlight and show how an engineering-led approach can turn an available water surface into a reliable renewable-energy asset.

HelioRec presented its floating solar approach on stage at Solar & Storage Live Paris 2026.
Floating solar—from design to deployment
During the event, HelioRec presented its end-to-end approach to floating photovoltaic projects. The central message was simple: long-term project performance depends on treating the floating platform, anchoring and mooring, electrical system, site conditions and deployment strategy as one integrated system.
The presentation highlighted three connected areas of expertise:
Design and engineering: assessing site conditions, loads, layout constraints and project requirements before defining the floating solar architecture.
Floating system manufacturing: supplying robust floating technology developed for lakes, reservoirs and nearshore environments.
Deployment support: helping project teams move from an engineered concept to practical installation and operation.
This design-to-deployment perspective is especially important for floating solar power plants, where wind, waves, water-level variations, bathymetry, access and environmental conditions influence the entire project.
What HelioRec showcased in Paris
At the HelioRec stand, visitors could discover the company’s floating technologies, including the W050A and W300A solutions, as well as AquaSense monitoring capabilities. Together, these solutions reflect HelioRec’s focus on practical engineering, reliable deployment and informed operation throughout the life of a floating solar project.
The team also shared how HelioRec supports project stakeholders across the development cycle—from early site identification and feasibility through system design, manufacturing, installation planning and long-term monitoring.
Why the industry dialogue matters
Solar & Storage Live Paris connects the people responsible for designing, financing, installing and operating the next generation of renewable-energy infrastructure. Bringing floating solar into that conversation helps developers and asset owners evaluate where water-based PV can complement ground-mounted and rooftop solar.
For suitable sites, floating solar can unlock unused water surfaces, reduce competition for land and place renewable generation close to existing energy infrastructure or electricity demand. Achieving those benefits, however, requires site-specific engineering rather than a one-size-fits-all platform.
A strong two days for the HelioRec team
We thank everyone who visited the HelioRec stand, attended the presentation and exchanged ideas with our team. The conversations in Paris reinforced the growing interest in floating solar systems that combine thoughtful design, durable technology and practical deployment support.
If you are assessing a lake, reservoir or nearshore site for floating PV, HelioRec can help you evaluate the opportunity and define the right technical path—from first assessment to commissioning.
