HelioRec’s W300A floating solar demonstrator in Brest Port combines clean energy generation with advanced real-time monitoring. The 10 kWp platform collects marine and structural data to validate and optimise floating solar technology for larger coastal and port applications.

HelioRec’s Solar4Ports project has received €561,247 in non-repayable funding to develop and demonstrate a 200 kWp W300A floating solar power plant in one of France’s largest ports. The 24-month project will validate coastal FPV technology under real waves, tides, wind and saltwater conditions.

HelioRec has deployed a 2 kWp floating solar demonstrator at Les Salins in Arles, France, to validate floating solar technology in one of the world's most challenging hypersaline environments. The project evaluates corrosion-resistant materials, mooring systems, and electrical components exposed to salt-saturated water and salt spray, paving the way for future large-scale floating solar power plants in highly saline industrial and coastal locations.
